Want to know something about CoonWatch? In a nutshell, we are just watching coons in their natural habitat of white supremacy, but not in the historical racist context of the USA, were the coon was portrayed as a lazy, easily frightened, chronically idle, inarticulate, buffoon who sole purpose in life is too amuse those in the dominant society.

We reject that notion. We consider coons, those whose actions (intentional or not) inflict harm on people of color.  Coons come in all shades… From the Uncle Toms & Sellouts to the benign Sambos & Buffoons. This IS intended to be a shaming blog. Therefore, in order for us to shame, we need attention. HELP US SHAME!
